We recently took a trip to Cuba. We stayed at Casa Compostela in Havana…. right in the heart of the city! The Casa was extremely comfortable, decorated with lovely antiques. Our hosts Yors and Damaryrs were awesome! They made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived till the moment we departed. Another Amazing Holiday at Casa Compostela

I am very fortunate to be able to stay for three months in the winter at Casa Compostela..I would not want to be anywhere else. Maite is a wonderful host who speaks fluent English and if you are lucky you will be able to watch her play her violin with her orgestra…very talented! She is very helpful and will ensure that your taxis are ordered and you side trips organised, and she will help you with the best restaurants and music venues.

The Casa is a small Boutique Hotel with just the right amount of social space to visit with other guests who come and go..there is a cosy dining area on one side of the house where everyone eats breakfast, and the other side has another kitchen with a bar and salon with a balcony which is great for watching the street life go by.
Teresa and Yelena, who makes breakfast and clean the casa and rooms, are friendly and helpful as are the night time security men..very nice group of people.
The Casa is filled with antiques, marble floors, beautiful chandeliers and is very lovely but it is the people that make it special!
Pick a room with a balcony you won’t regret it! I highly recommend this casa..beautiful, safe and great staff. – BC Lucy, Vancouver BC

Casa Compostela is in REAL GREAT CENTER ! One block from the main tourist street Obispo, only 5 min from all architecture buildings, Plaza vieja, also in 3 min from Central Park. It is really safe to walk in the evening! During the day, you can see dancing people. The rooms with balcony are the best ( we were in one of them :))
Maite is very sweet young lady whit excellent English! The house is in times better than other that we see there, believe me! It is clean, with AC and it is in front of the biggest bank! – Desislava K, March 2016

I can’t say enough about the team at Casa Compostela. They are a fantastic group. Hospitable, knowledgeable and helpful. The Casa itself is beautiful, and the location is perfect. There are superb restaurants right around the corner, and if you are an art buff both Museo de la Revolution and Museo Bellas Artes are within walking distance.
Señorita Maite, the woman who runs the Casa, is phenomenal. This is the only place I will stay when I come to Havana. – January 2016
