Booking with us at Casa Compostela, you will be warmly greeted by Alexander the manager, who speaks english and the staff including night time security men for your safety and to ensure that late night arrivals and departures are looked after.
This casa has been remodeled and is now under new management. This beautiful Casa is now like a small Boutique Hotel with six rooms with marble floors, beautiful chandeliers, and many antiques. All rooms have air conditioning, private bathrooms, comfortable beds with big doors that open to the street below and there is 24-hour security to ensure your comfort and safety. Our goal is to provide a pleasant and remarkable stay in Habana Vieja and the friendly and courteous staff work hard to ensure this and will make you feel at home. The Casa is centrally located in Old Havana, close to the main shopping street, Calle Obispo that has restaurants, bars and close to the old plazas, museums, and churches.

This beautifully restored casa is located right in the heart of the area known as ¨ The Historical Quarter ¨ from which you can enjoy the marvelous architecture of a timeless city. This private house is also very near the capitol of Havana, surrounded by many well-known restaurants such as ¨El Floridita¨ and ¨La Bodeguita del Medio¨, bars, coffee shops, stores, and other interesting places. Calle Obispo a block away, chaotic and jam-packed with shops, small grocery stores, liquor store, bars, paladares, galleries and peso food stalls, is La Habana Vieja’s main artery. An endless tide of tourists and locals ebbs and flows into vibrant alleys before spilling out onto the Plaza de Armas, the old town’s social hub. To the north-west lies one of Cuba’s most romantic and architecturally harmonious squares, Plaza de la Catedral, with the Columbus Cathedral, the finest example of Cuban Baroque.

On arrival, we accept only cash payments in either CUC, USD, GBP or Euros!

We have 2 rooms with private bathrooms outside the bedrooms. The rates per night:

Breakfast is 6 cuc per person (coffee, fruit smoothies, fresh fruits, juices, breads, sweets, eggs, omelets, ham, cheese, jam, etc ..)
Taxis from Havana Jose Marti airport are located outside the front doors of the airport and cost $25 CUC (Cuban convertibles pesos) one way. From Varadero, the taxis cost 80-90 CUC into Habana Vieja.
